Help a Neighbor Shovel Out!
SNOW SHOVELING FOR OUR NEIGHBORS 🤍
With snow forecasted and new, more expensive fines for unshoveled sidewalks in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, we want to ensure that no one gets left behind.
Peake Social is mobilizing our community to help shovel sidewalks for neighbors who need a hand, folks including seniors, people with mobility challenges, busy families, or anyone who could use some help after the snow storm. New regulations required snow to be cleared within three hours in Annapolis or be fined $100. See rules here.
Anne Arundel residents have 48 hours (or 24 hours if less than three inches) or be fined $50 after a 24-warning is issued. See rules here.
Here’s how you can get involved:
• Need help?
Submit your address or nominate a neighbor who could use sidewalk shoveling support.
• Want to volunteer?
Sign up to help and list the street you’re on and we’ll match you locally.
• Have a kid looking to earn some extra money?
We’ll connect you- just provide a first name, parent’s cell number, and location.
• Want to hire a local kid to shovel?
Submit their street or neighborhood so nearby residents can find them.
Let’s help our neighbors, keep the sidewalks safe/accessible, and show what a strong local community we have!

I would like to have my child or someone I know be contacted about shoveling work! They do more than just play video games!
Currently, we are primarily focused on the Annapolis area; however, with over 6,000 players, we have friends and volunteers across multiple cities! Don’t be afraid to list your information but we can’t promise a width coverage outside a few miles from the epicenter of Annapolis.
Stay safe and warm!
